My quest to discover other ESL companies outside Asia has increasingly stirred up my interest because they seem to give the pay fairly. Although I don't discredit some ESL companies based in Asia that offer better pay, these companies have set more competitive rates with jaw-dropping bonuses, making them more enticing and intriguing.
Here are the lists of the companies I discovered that would stop you from belting the famous line, "Never enough! Never! Never!"
Sure enough, there are companies around that are worth settling with.
Sadly, we don't expect them to give the same rate this time as before. Due to the Covid19 pandemic, some of these companies may experience a range of hardships. Hence, the rate might have been changed, but I hope it isn't a nosedive.
Speex could be anybody’s dream job when you are in a language niche. The company doesn’t just actually focus on individual interaction, but also it gears to engage with a broad audience and participants into their lessons. They have a unique approach where they integrate digital skills in the curriculum that they skillfully crafted. The best thing in this company is being paid even without a student. They offer a guaranteed amount worth EUR250 per month.
You are paid even the students cancel their classes with you. In this way, you would have more time to learn about digital skills with your workmates, who would coach you until you’d reach the level of metamorphosis- a renewed and more skillful you.
Skyeng has been popular to many of us since this ESL has been creating buzz across Europe. This giant company has monopolized entire Russia and partially gaining popularity in neighboring EU countries. Since this ESL mainly caters to students in EU, your eyes spark a Euro sign probably after you think how much you get during conversion. But ooops, you’re not earning Euros here. The money will be in Ruble, which is a Russian currency. They offer 200-250, and this depends on the students’ profiles you choose.
What was offered to me was a base rate of 200, which I had converted to peso already. The class would last for 50 minutes per student, as stated in my contract. Their HR personnel was kind enough to walk me on their platform. It was effortless to navigate, and the materials nearly resembled just with Engoo because they had also been incorporating recent issues in their materials. Hence, students find them relatable and relevant.
The only problem I encountered down the road was my internet speed. They were so stringent about maintaining the minimum internet speed. Whenever I checked my internet and tried to submit the result, it was always below par. The complexity of presenting the internet results has added to the reason I felt disinterested to continue. By the way, when checking your speed, try using St. Petersburg. When the results are low, you need to boost your speed if you feel eager to apply with Skyeng.
3. Black 'n White Language Solutions

Black' N White English is a company that brings us to the Amazon. This company originated in Brazil and has been in the market for quite a long time. Their target clients are companies and corporations whose employees are in dire need of learning English. Their services provide lessons to the rank in file, supervisors, and managers whose job entails negotiations, joining conferences, and promotions. They also cater to private individuals who wish to improve their English communication skills as well.
The offer was great because you would start with a rate of 25 reais which is 217.69 Philippine peso. The only downside I see from applying here is their rigorous process. Damn swear, the essay and some questions on their forms drained the energy out of me. When you successfully get through with it, there is another test which you have to wait before clinching a spot for an interview. I hope their process in hiring people had changed since I know when the pandemic started, the competition at getting clients has become tighter. Further, there have also been looming threats from new and mushrooming ESL industries around that provide quality services.
